The company gets a Norwegian branch.<\/li>\n<li>The Norwegian branch is <em>not<\/em> an independent legal entity.<\/li>\n<li>The foreign company is liable for all obligations associated with the Norwegian branch.<\/li>\n<li>The branch gets registered in the <em>Norwegian corporate register<\/em>t and given an organization number.<\/li>\n<li>The branch is eligible for VAT registration.<\/li>\n<li>The business address can be in Norway or the home country<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<h3>Company &#8211; Limited liability (AS)<\/h3>\n<p>An AS entails:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establishment of a Nowegian limited liability company (subsidiary).<\/li>\n<li>The company is an independent legal entity.<\/li>\n<li>Memorandum of association documents are prepared, a board of directors and possibly a director is appointed.
