The Store Manager leads Roccamore’s first flagship location in Norway and manages the Talent, Operations, Customer Service and P&L of our first store outside of our home market.

ABOUT US 

Roccamore is a Danish fashion brand with a mission of supporting women in being who they are.

The name Roccamore is a play on the Italian words roccaforte (fortress) and amore (love). To us, it conveys a fortress of love, referring to the positive feeling which a perfect pair of heels can give you, as opposed to many regular heels that complicate your life with discomfort.

We are a purpose driven company, dedicated to empowerment of women, innovation, design and sustainability

We aspire to make women feel even more powerful, confident and capable than they already are – by giving them beautiful, comfortable high heels to take on the world in.

Our shoes are handmade in Italy and are scientifically proven to be up to 44% more comfortable than regular high heels due to our construction and design methods.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Store Manager you will play a key role in driving our mission and values in the Norwegian market and in many cases you will be the first impression for our future clients. You will continuously develop and adjust tactical and operational execution to best facilitate our messaging and to deliver the commercial goals for the flagship store.

Working at Roccamore means that we always have a plan, until we change it, and you have to be okay with that. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Hire and train world class staff that represents our brand and connect with our mission
  • Staff planning and scheduling to meet the needs of the business
  • Ensure the highest degree of customer experience through customer service and product knowledge
  • Ensure inspirational and clean merchandising and product presentation
  • Engage and activate your local community through events and appropriate use of the retail space
  • Driving traffic to the store
  • Operational excellence including optimisation of on-hand product
  • P&L responsibility

There is a strictly enforced quarantine period upon entering the country, however some are exempt from the quarantine if they have a socially critical job.

Many foreign companies experience that projects and deliveries in Norway are cancelled or postponed during this period. This, of course, creates some uncertainty. In particular, we encounter questions about whether it is possible to enter Norway as an employee from another EU/EEA country, and whether they are exempt from the quarantine.
